This estimator includes only official fees payable to patent offices. It does not include professional fees charged by patent attorneys or agents.

Significant search fee reductions of 60% are available to small entities and 80% for micro entities where the USPTO is the International Search Authority. However, you should be aware of the eligibility criteria and risks involved in making these elections. 1. The application pages include the total number of pages in the description, claims, drawings, and abstract. The request form (typically 5 pages) is not included.
2. The calculator assumes online filing via ePCT.
3. Converted currency amounts are indicative only. They assume a 5% conversion cost based on floating exchange rates. Actual costs may vary depending on exchange rate fluctuations and payment method fees.
4. Where IB fees apply, they are calculated in Swiss Francs (CHF).
5. Additional fees may apply in special cases, such as the inclusion of sequence listings, late filings, or restoration of priority.
6. Additional local fees may be incurred for obtaining DAS codes or certified copies of priority documents.
7. Fee data is current as of 26 June 2025, based on the WIPO fee table effective from 1 July 2025.
